A community of priests, religious and laity, called together in mission.
Pause a while, relax and reflect. Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome here — and you are, as Scripture reminds us, God's own work of art, made for good things prepared in advance.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6–7

Welcome to Céilí Catholic Community
We believe we are called to mission.
Céilí is a collaborative Catholic community of priests, sisters and lay people, drawn together by God to evangelise. We exist to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, and to equip others — parishes, schools and individuals — for that same work of evangelisation.
As you make your way through this website, you'll find a great deal more about who we are and how we pray. For now, we simply invite you to pause, relax and reflect: you are near to the Lord, and you are welcome here.
Rooted in prayer, formed for mission
Three strands of our common life — carried out together by priests, religious and lay members of the Community.
Called to evangelise
As a community of priests, religious and laity, we are sent out to proclaim the Gospel through parish missions, school visits and door-to-door outreach across Ireland.
Formation for the journey
We provide teaching, training and formation for the needs of the Céilí Community — from discernment weekends to ongoing spiritual and pastoral development.
A home to gather
Our well-equipped facilities at Cuan Phádraig welcome retreats, courses and community events throughout the year.
Priests, religious and laity, together
Céilí is not one vocation but three, living and serving side by side.
Priests
Diocesan priests who share their ministry within the life and mission of the Community.
Religious
The Céilí Community Sisters, living a consecrated life of prayer and evangelisation.
Laity
Singles and married couples who commit their gifts and time to the work of mission.
"The two weeks of the mission were a very inspiring time for us in the parish and our faith — filled with great positivity and celebration. Nobody we have spoken to has had anything negative to say: it has received nothing but praise."
Recent news from the Community
